The Partner Program Lisa Marie Buster Ministries is a non-profit corporation established for the express purpose of challenging people everywhere to a deeper relationship with Jesus. For those of you who know Lisa, You know that God has blessed her with the ability to do that in a unique manner… A pastor in Missouri put it this way, "The thing that sets Lisa Marie Buster Ministries apart, and the reason I bring them back to my church every year, is the ability God has given Lisa to minister in both God's Word and music.”
Where things currently stand:
· After nearly fifteen years of travel over American highways, and the use of our sound system in hundreds of concerts, both our motor home and sound equipment are in urgent need of repair and upgrade.
· Over the last few years, because of the rising cost of gasoline and travel, our expenses have risen about $1000.00 a month. Our income has not.
. Our Computer equipment needs to be updated and expanded. Not only are computers necessary for the running of our office (scheduling, bookkeeping, web design, music editing, designing brochures, poster’s, ect…) but they have also become a big part in the way ministry is presented today. One of our goals is to include video and power point presentations in our programs but at this time we do not have reliable equipment to accomplish this.
What does all this mean? We are seriously behind in a lot of areas.
From the Beginning, Lisa Marie Buster Ministries has been strongly convicted about how this ministry is to be run in a couple of areas.
1. We believe in the value of every human soul. We have never uttered the words, “We are sorry, your church is not large enough for us to minister in,” nor have we ever cancelled a meeting in a small church because of an offer from a larger church for the same date.
2. We believe God has called us to create and run a faith-based, freewill offering ministry. This means, with the exception of a few agreed-upon-events, the money that funds this ministry comes from freewill offerings received at the end of services. Much of the time it covers the needs - sometimes it doesn’t cover the cost of gas. Irrespective, if God says to go, we go, for we are committed to obedience and to the conviction Christ placed within us to keep ministry free.
So what’s next? At this present time we find ourselves in serious need of committed supporters so that we may continue doing what the Lords has called us to do. We are seeking individuals who are interested in becoming more than passive observers of this ministry. We (Mike and Lisa) have always carried the larger portion of this work. God has blessed and much has been accomplished for the Kingdom. But the question we ask ourselves today is, “Have we limited God by not giving others a chance to partner with us?” Could this ministry be reaching further or running more efficiently with your help? We believe the answer is, “Yes!” Perhaps you are not able or do not feel called to travel from place to place all year long sharing God’s Word but maybe you would like to be a part of a ministry that does. If you partner with us, your support will help take us from one town to the next, or make sure our equipment does not fail and that we have what we need to be as effective as possible. Then, everywhere we go in some wonderful way, you will be going with us, spreading the love and hope of Jesus.
We are believing God for financial partners, committed to supporting Lisa Marie Buster Ministries on a monthly basis.
We are also believing God for prayer partners, committed to joining with this ministry in prayer. When prayer requests come in we will forward these requests to our partners.
We believe the only way Lisa Marie Buster Ministries can thrive is with the strong support of our financial and prayer partners. Further, we believe that adding a “Partner Program” goes right along with our conviction of keeping this ministry faith-based. We will only tell you of the need – not how to fulfill it. That must be left to the Holy Spirit.
The bottom line:
Self-supporting, full-time ministries such as ours, depends entirely on the prayers and financial backing of God's people. Ever increasing costs require an expanding circle of participating friends. Will you help? Will you let God use you?
Some have given, even sacrificially, to this ministry and we praise God and thank them for their loving support. We also know many of you are involved with local churches, or other ministries. We would NEVER want to take the place of those commitments you have already made. Please give the “Partner Program” serious prayer time before making a decision.
